title: Galaxy formation in the cold dark matter universe
abstract: I first explain the structure formation in the cold dark matter universe based on the linear theory. The model is known to have some difficulties below galactic scale. I explain how baryonic processes relevant to galaxy formation solve these problems, focusing on how baryons change the dark matter distribution.
